YRC Freight Digital Marketing Specialist in Akron, Ohio


To assist and make key contributions with integrated omni-channel digital campaigns and channel management.


  1. Develop and implement marketing campaigns from channel, to ad unit, to landing page, to user experience, to lifetime value.

  2. Manage multiple channels including website, social and e-mail.

  3. Maintain cohesive social voice and strategy to engage audiences. Manage workflow for optimal reputation management.

  4. Maintain SEO strategy on all brand website properties. Manage content updates.

  5. Maintain e-mail calendar and list management.

  6. Identify, evaluate and oversee external agencies/technology vendors, and works across internal departments to effectively manage digital projects.

  7. Keep current with digital media trends and recommend innovative tactics, tools and strategies.

  8. Collaborates with cross-functional teams.

  9. Gathers and evaluates web analytics and metrics to leverage the marketing of all programs.

  1. Two (2) or more years’ experience of relevant data-driven consumer marketing/acquisitions experience and channel management.

  2. Demonstrated excellent data analysis skills and expertise with Excel.

  3. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.

  4. Strong project management with proven digital project portfolio.

  5. Demonstrated high energy and strong work ethic. Self-motivated to push for growth.


  1. Bachelor’s degree in related field.


This job operates in a professional office environment indoors. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.


The position requires the ability to spend long hours sitting or standing while using office equipment and computers. Ability to perform repetitive tasks, such as typing and keying. Occasional lifting, pushing/pulling, carrying 10 lbs. of supplies and materials is required.
