YRC Freight Sales Analyst I-Overland Park, KS in Overland Park, Kansas


Responsible to coordinate various projects as assigned with sales and operations to accomplish company objectives. Work with various departments to develop process improvements, standard operation procedures, partnerships and meet sales growth objectives.


  1. Check and assess all information concerning sales deployment to ensure that sales representatives are positioned to respond to customer needs.

  2. Collaborate with Sales Leadership to determine the optimal configuration of sales territories and account assignment.

  3. Provide and monitor information used in sales reporting and incentive plans.

  4. Collaborate with all appropriate departments across the company to coordinate processes and communication. Coordinate tactical implementation plans to realize strategy.

  5. Assist sales and other internal departments with understanding the complexity of account assignment.

  6. Respond and process all requests for information and changes including validation of data, exception processing and complaints.

  1. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (specifically Outlook, Excel, Access, Word)

  5. Ability to successfully manage multiple processes and priorities.

  6. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  1. Previous experience in sales administration.


This job operates in a professional office environment indoors. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Required to travel between terminal sites and customer locations.


The position requires the ability to spend long hours sitting or standing while using office equipment and computers. Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and keying. Occasional lifting, pushing/pulling, carrying 10 lbs of supplies and materials is required.* *
